Aug 8 | Japanese-Inspired Pottery Painting

Unwind with a relaxing afternoon of creativity at Rove Kyoto as we transform a simple ceramic teacup into a one-of-a-kind keepsake inspired by Japanese art and culture.

In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll paint your own ceramic teacup using underglazes and explore Japanese-inspired motifs such as cherry blossoms, Mount Fuji, lucky cats, and minimalist landscapes. You’ll also have the freedom to create your own design, making each piece uniquely yours.

Whether you’re joining with friends, planning a creative date, or simply looking for a mindful experience, this workshop is designed for all skill levels. No prior painting experience is required—our instructor will provide guidance throughout the session.

Inspired by the quiet beauty of Japanese craftsmanship, this workshop invites you to slow down, enjoy the creative process, and leave with a hand-painted ceramic teacup made by you.
